Affiliate Disclosure
What earns us money on this site, when it does, and the editorial rules a commission has never been allowed to bend. Right now the answer to the first question is: nothing yet.

Today's state
We have not activated affiliate programs with any of the dance retailers or brands we cover. Nothing on this site earns us a commission today. The links you see go straight to the seller's own product page with no tracking, no cookie drop, no referral. We will say so plainly on this page the day that changes, list the active programs by name, and add the per-page disclosures alongside.
Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When affiliate programs with specific retailers or networks are active, they are disclosed here and noted on the relevant guide or page. Our editorial standards (see Editorial Policy) require that recommendations remain honest, caveated, and useful regardless of whether a link is monetized.
How We Handle Affiliate Links
- Affiliate links are disclosed on this page and, where active, noted on the relevant guide or page.
- A product is not recommended only because it pays a commission. Return risk, studio rules, and alternatives stay visible on monetized pages.
- If we receive samples, sponsorship, payment, or other material consideration for coverage, the relevant page says so explicitly.
Reader Trust Rule
- When there is no good deal, we say so.
- When fit or return risk matters more than price, we say so.
- We describe our research basis on each guide. Current content is based on public sources, manufacturer specs, and verified seller data. We don't claim testing or expertise we don't have.
- When a recommended product also has a more useful non-affiliate alternative, the page shows both.
