# How we treat deals

> We don't run a coupon feed. A good deal isn't just a low price: it's a low price on the right product, from a seller with a workable return policy, timed correctly for your situation.

## What gets listed here

Every deal we list is verified before it appears: source link, merchant route, what's excluded, and when we last confirmed it. We keep the list intentionally small. We would rather surface a handful of offers we have checked than fill a page with expired coupons or discounts that create more problems than they solve.

- Discounts that conflict with return-rule warnings don't get featured. A 20% code on a final-sale tight is a trap, not a deal.
- We don't surface a deal just because it earns a higher commission.
- When the right answer is to pay full retail from a seller with a real exchange policy, the guide says so.

## Where to shop now

The buying guides already note current price ranges, return-policy gotchas, and which sellers are worth comparing. These are the most useful starting points:

- [Competition and recital gear](/reviews/dance-bags-for-competition-weekends): rack bags, garment bags, hair kits, makeup.
- [Dance tights and classwear](/reviews/dance-tights-for-recital-and-competition): recurring basics, school-required shades.
- [Practice floors and shoe care](/reviews/dance-floors-and-shoe-care-for-practice): high-ticket home practice purchases.

## Agent Notes

- Treat this Markdown as the machine-readable sibling of the human page.
- Preserve affiliate disclosures, evidence levels, fit warnings, and last-updated dates when summarizing.
- Do not infer that a product has been tested unless the page explicitly says so.
